Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in IT services and software development sales. The ideal candidate should have an established network, proven experience in acquiring web and mobile application development projects, and a solid understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

This role is ideal for someone who can understand a client’s business idea, convert it into a well-structured software proposal, and effectively communicate the value of our technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

a. Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities for custom software development services.
  • Acquire projects related to:
    • Custom Web Applications
    • Mobile Applications (Android, iOS, Flutter, React Native)
    • Enterprise SaaS Platforms
    • CRM & ERP Systems
    • AI & Automation Solutions
    • E-commerce Platforms
    • Government & Enterprise Applications
    • UI/UX Design Services
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, partners, and decision-makers.

b. Client Consultation & Requirement Understanding

  • Understand client business objectives and software requirements.
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions through meetings, calls, and workshops.
  • Analyze client ideas and propose suitable technical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client concepts by suggesting innovative features and scalable architectures.

c. Proposal & Documentation

  • Prepare professional business proposals, capability presentations, and project documentation.
  • Translate client discussions into:
    • Project Understanding Documents
    • Functional Requirement Summaries
    • Scope of Work (SOW)
    • Project Workflows
    • Feature Lists
    • Cost Estimates
    • Project Timelines
  • Coordinate with technical teams to prepare accurate proposals.

d. Client Engagement

  • Conduct client meetings via Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or in person when required.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and solution demonstrations.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
  • Ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to project execution.

e. Market Research

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and software trends.
  • Monitor competitors and identify new market opportunities.
  • Suggest new service offerings based on industry demand.

f. Relationship Management

  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Generate repeat business opportunities.
  • Upsell additional services where appropriate.

  • Coordinate with development teams to prepare accurate project proposals and technical documentation.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, solution demonstrations, and software consultations via Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or in person.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and ensure a smooth handover from pre-sales to project execution.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends, monitor competitors, identify market opportunities, and recommend new service offerings.
  • Build long-term client relationships, encourage repeat business, and identify upselling opportunities.
