We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team at Notebrain Software and Services Private Limited The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT services and software development sales, with the ability to identify new business opportunities, build long-term client relationships, and successfully close high-value projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding client business objectives, analyzing software requirements, and recommending the most suitable technology solutions. You will work closely with prospective clients, technical teams, and project managers to prepare detailed proposals, cost estimates, project timelines, and solution presentations. A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern software technologies is essential to effectively translate business ideas into practical digital solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, along with the ability to manage the complete sales lifecycle, from lead generation and requirement gathering to proposal submission, deal closure, and client handover. Experience selling services such as Custom Web Development, Mobile Application Development, Enterprise SaaS Platforms, CRM & ERP Solutions, AI & Automation, E-commerce Platforms, and UI/UX Design will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities for custom software development services.
  • Acquire projects related to Web Applications, Mobile Applications (Android, iOS, Flutter, React Native), Enterprise SaaS Platforms, CRM & ERP Systems, AI & Automation Solutions, E-commerce Platforms, Government Applications, and UI/UX Design Services.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects and long-term client relationships.
  • Understand client business goals and gather software requirements through meetings, calls, and workshops.
  • Analyze client ideas and recommend scalable, technically feasible software solutions.
  • Prepare Project Understanding Documents, Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Scope of Work (SOW), project workflows, feature lists, cost estimates, and implementation timelines.
  • Coordinate with development teams to prepare accurate project proposals and technical documentation.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, solution demonstrations, and software consultations via Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or in person.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and ensure a smooth handover from pre-sales to project execution.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends, monitor competitors, identify market opportunities, and recommend new service offerings.
  • Build long-term client relationships, encourage repeat business, and identify upselling opportunities.
